Senior Summer

I find myself in a predicament.

The product of two education systems, two countries, and (of course) two parents I am utterly and totally bored this summer. Why is this summer so special? You ask. Simple. It's the summer before I start college and let's face it, that's a pretty big deal.

So many friends of mine post a picture a day or have blogs on which they post once a day in order to commemorate this incredible journey, the Journey to College. That's great. Especially because everyone experiences it differently.

However, I honestly think that my ordeal is probably the greatest. After being raised in the suburbs of Detroit for 12 years we moved to India. That being said, I am now going back to America which means that not only do I have the traditional Indian summer vacation that begins in February, but an American one too that ends in August.

I know what you're thinking. Wow! 7 months of vacation! That sounds great! Yeah, I thought the same thing too. But really. It's not. Most particularly because I spent February studying for finals which ended in March. And so, half way through April I start my summer blog.

I'm not going to promise to blog once a day, or anything. But I do plan on blogging whenever something blog-worthy crosses my mind. And for whoever finds my art enjoyable. Thank you. I truly truly appreciate it.
